Hi Gyro team,
I’m applying for the Video Producer role because it brings together the parts of creative work I enjoy most: finding the angle, shaping the story, and making the content itself.
My work spans concept development, scripting, directing, filming, editing, social formats, and AI-assisted production across image, video, and audio, which expands what I can create.
Here are eight videos that show different sides of that work:
A 45-second commercial for a bubble tea and coffee brand, developed from concept and storyboard through visual direction, AI generation, editing, sound, and final post-production.
A fully AI-generated commercial for BabyLoop, a subscription platform for a newborn’s first year, developed as part of my MBA final project. I created the concept and story, then built the final piece through AI-generated visuals, video, and editing.
Reworked a popular Instagram format into commentary on the language international media used following October 7.
Created a short-form video to promote a rare, limited-release coffee variety, adapting a viral Instagram format to the product.
Produced and edited a demo video for 9/16, my cover band, bringing the performance footage together into a concise promotional piece.
Edited a talking-head video for social media, shaping the recorded footage into a polished final piece.
A documentary-style interview for “Professional Fest,” Kherson’s city competition for young teachers, combining a sit-down interview with classroom footage.
Gyro got my attention for a very practical reason: I actually have an unresolved airline case myself. My flight was canceled while I was already at the gate, the entire flight was sent home, and we still haven’t received a clear answer or any compensation.
So the problem Gyro is solving doesn’t feel abstract to me. I know how quickly a disrupted flight can turn into weeks of trying to understand what happens next, what you might be owed, and whether the airline is ever going to respond. I think that combination of firsthand perspective, creative production, and marketing experience would help me tell Gyro’s story in a way that feels clear, relevant, and real.
